The Ten Tiers
Every company and researcher in the directory is assigned to one primary tier — from Interplanetary Logistics to Martian Law & Finance — representing the full technology stack required for sustainable off-Earth settlement. Articles and white papers are tagged to the same taxonomy, so you can follow a single tier across the directory, the rankings, and the blog.
How the Top 100 lists are decided
The Top 100 Companies and Top 100 Researchers lists are determined solely by the independent editorial committee. Paid advertisers, sponsors, and job board customers are not eligible for ranking consideration or influence, and sponsored listings are excluded from Top 100 eligibility.
The 2026 Edition is in preparation. New directory entries, articles, and white papers will appear here as the editorial team publishes them.
