This list was determined solely by our editorial staff using the criteria provided. In future cycles, we hope to have The Contributors 100 lists compiled by researchers themselves through a volunteer advisory committee. This would give the scientific and engineering community direct ownership over who is recognized and how the selection criteria evolve. Paid advertisers, sponsors, and job board customers are not eligible to sit on this advisory committee.
