Space Angels

Recognized under Tier 10 — Martian Law & Finance, Space Angels is an investment network and advisory platform, founded in 2007, that connects accredited investors to early-stage space companies, primarily at the Series A stage. Over its operating history it has invested in more than 40 companies, with a portfolio track record that includes Rocket Lab's 2021 Nasdaq listing, Planet Labs' NYSE listing, and ICEYE, which reached unicorn status in 2025 roughly eight years after Space Angels' initial investment. The firm's role has centered on aggregating private capital for ventures too early or too specialized for traditional venture funds. That function — vetting and financing nascent space hardware and services companies before they reach institutional scale — is part of the capital formation chain that Moon and Mars infrastructure builders will continue to rely on as they move from concept to flight-proven hardware.
