Anthony Colozza

Recognized under Tier 5 — Energy Systems & Power Generation, Anthony Colozza has conducted extensive technical work on solar and nuclear power systems for space applications at NASA Glenn Research Center. Colozza's research spanning photovoltaic systems, radioisotope power sources, Stirling cycle converters, and other space power technologies has contributed to the engineering knowledge base for designing power systems that operate reliably across a wide range of space environments. A Mars colony will need to draw on multiple power generation approaches depending on mission phase, location, and contingency, and that breadth of technical expertise in space power engineering is directly valuable.
