Dorit Donoviel

Recognized under Tier 9 — Extraterrestrial Healthcare, Dorit Donoviel has made outstanding contributions to human health research for deep space exploration. As Director of the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) at Baylor College of Medicine — an organization dedicated to accelerating solutions to the human health challenges of long-duration spaceflight — Donoviel has built a broad-based research enterprise addressing the full spectrum of health risks facing Mars-bound crews, including radiation, isolation, confinement, physiological deconditioning, and the limitations of in-mission medical care.
