Laurent Sibille

Recognized under Tier 2 — In-Situ Resource Utilization, Laurent Sibille has made significant contributions to regolith simulant development and ISRU process research at NASA Kennedy Space Center. Sibille's work creating high-fidelity simulants of lunar and Martian regolith — materials that allow ISRU technologies to be designed, tested, and validated on Earth before deployment — provides an essential enabling capability for the entire ISRU research community. Alongside research into processing techniques for extracting useful materials from regolith, Sibille has helped build the experimental infrastructure that makes terrestrial ISRU testing credible and meaningful for mission planners.
